Update (07-Aug-2022)

Hi All,

I just want to give a quick update.

Last week I finished all the writing for the scenes I want to add to the game this month. It took a lot longer than I thought it would have, but it was good practice. I've written 3 scenes for passengers being transported, and also bra and panty inspection scenes for all 4 lewd officer types. All of them should have quite a bit of variation in them, based on what she is wearing or just randomness. Next time, I might tackle a smaller batch, though. Next week and probably the following week, I will start adding the scenes into the game and then testing them.

Furthermore, we have begun work on the next doll view. This time it will be from behind the main character. Some artwork is already finished. However, it will take some testing and calibrating, so I can't promise it will be included in this month's release.

I also did some work to revamp how the game tracks changes in sexual events counters. It won't look too different from the players' side, but it will be a lot more organized in the back end. It should also be a bit more cohesive in terms of what kinds of things are kept track of. Like, do you want to keep track of how many times the main characters chest was groped? What about how many times she was cat called? Those are the kinds of things I'm reviewing.

Lastly, what kinds of things would you like to see being kept track of in the game? Is this a thing you care about? Let me know, thanks!

Hi,

thanks for sharing your progress :-)

A small idea for the doll view: if I got you correctly, there won't be a front view that shows the whole doll anymore. Therefore, switching the view will be more interesting (I practically never did it in the old version). Maybe it would be a good idea to have the switch button on every page, not only in the menu page.

About the statistics, I do not care much about them. They are just numbers, but what do they tell you? Except that they are too high to what you should have in real life ;-) They do not help you to improve your gameplay. Maybe some more general statistics would help, like lost morale due to morning scenes / officers / loading scenes. That might also help you to balance the game.

As you have given me the idea that the game still might be beatable on hard with the right boni on your last post, I tried it. It took me over 30 rerolls to get the desired boni. But it works - I'm on day 180 and there is not much that could go wrong anymore.

Awesome!! I always wondered if hard mode was beatable or not. I'm glad you gave it a go, thanks! :D

I still have a plan on how to soften that 60%. Do you think it's still worthwhile?

Also, that's a great idea about the switch button. I'll give it a go. I also like the idea of tracking what ends up costing the most morale. That's kind of interesting, for me.

Yes, you should definitively soften the 60%. First, I think there are only very few bonus combinations where hard mode is currently beatable. Second, it will be more fun, not because of the reduced frustration but because you have more decisions to make.

My suggestion is 70%. On a station with 3 officers available, the probability of getting at least two missions is 78.4%, having only one mission 18.9%, and having no mission at all 2.7% (compared to 64.8%, 28.8%, and 6.4%). This is, about on 4 of 5 days, you have to make a decision.

I'm looking forward to whatever decision you make.

That's a very good point. That wasn't really the problem I was thinking about. I was thinking about the problem that too often there are no missions available at the station, which is too punishing. But you bring up a good point, that often there are no decisions to make, because there might only be 1 mission available. I'll post on this soon, thanks!

Some ideas

Whether the requested clothing needs to be purchased at a specific location.

The protagonist can have a personal rating (or reputation rating), such as how many quests have been completed, which can be used to earn more money during the quest.

Currently only a certain amount of morale is deducted per shipment, and the success rate is 100%. Are there any accidents, like damage?

Will there be a new way to receive tasks? (Government forces are so corrupt. Send goods to rebel groups.)

Thanks for sharing the ideas. I like the thought behind it. I thought about a few things like that before, when I first started working on this game. One thing I thought about in particular was outfit variety, and if you start the game with them, or if you collect them somehow. Collecting outfit pieces is something I actually did do in my last game, Darkmorrow Arena (latest version is 0.5). In that game, you buy all the outfit pieces, and they are randomly generated on a day-to-day basis. I ultimately decided against it for this game, because it'll make the game too complicated, and I wanted the focus on something else. However, it's something I'd like to revisit in my next game.

Hey,

Good news there's even more progress!

Regarding tracking - For me personally it's not something terribly important :P Especially when those numbers don't do anything gameplay wise...

You have a good point, lol.
