Update (07-May-2023)

Just want to give you a quick update.

Over the last week, I've added the morning scene events' text into the game. This is a big achievement, because it takes a lot of time to do this. There are a lot of branches and conditions involved, and I don't want to make any subtle mistakes along the way. Overall, this was about 2,000 words long. I don't really pride myself in word length. I think in writing, being succinct is better. But, I think this shows that it was a sizable addition. To compare it with previous scenes, my previous scenes were usually 300 to 500 words long.

Next week, I plan to test these scenes and also add some minor but necessary mechanical additions. Testing will take a while, because some of the text changes based on the main character's current outfit. Therefore, I have to test out the scenes with various different outfit options. The mechanical additions are I think kind of interesting. When I add lewd scenes in Delivery Pilot, each message box basically needs 5 pieces; Text, Doll Art on the side, Silhouette selection if any, any change to morale, and any change to sex counters/record. I've added the text and doll art changes, but I still need to add the other 3.

Lastly, I have also commissioned 3 more silhouettes for the morning scene, and I plan to commission more for the evening private party scene. Overall, I think there will be around 10 new silhouettes, but a lot of previous silhouettes will be used as well, to save costs and to add a little bit of variety.

After all of this is done, I'll repeat the same steps for the evening party scene. The evening scene is drafted to be about 66% bigger than the morning scene. I'm pretty happy with the writing I did for the morning scene, and I hope I can bring the same style and language to the evening scene, too.
