Update (24-Apr-2022)

Hi All, I want to give a quick update.

I have 4 good news from last week.

  1. Last week, AshenCold had a great idea, that maybe we can break down for the player, how the mission payment value is calculated. I gave it a go, and I was able to make a panel that kinda does it for us. It's off by default, but you can turn it on in the settings window.
  2. I took some time to look into UI and audio packs, and I was able to update the UI. I was hesitant to do this, because I thought it would take a while, but it wasn't too bad. I like how it came out. The buttons even make new beep boop noises.
  3. I was able to unlock the rest of the outfit obligations, so you can now have the main character dress in more deprave ways. The new obligations have a requirement of the relationship level becoming 3 or higher for some, and 5 or higher for others. I still have not created any scenes for these, yet (but the new doll art is indeed added and visible, now), and there are a ton of other obligations to implement, as well. But, I'm happy I unlocked these, because now I can focus on making a more in-depth dress-up/undress system later on, too.
  4. I added a few shortcuts. For example, when you return to your plane with a job, the game automatically takes you to the cargo bay, since that's where the next step is. Overall, I think this will save you 3 clicks for every mission. I might tweak this further. There's a couple of reasons why I don't want to do this everywhere. For one, there are some places where I want to add random events, so I don't want to skip over those steps. Secondly, I do want the player to feel like they are doing it, and also, I want it to be a bit tedious for the player, just like it is for the main character, herself. So, there's a balance to be struck.

Anyway, testing is going fine, but I want to do some more, thorough testing. So, that's my plan for next week. If all goes well, I plan to release 0.2 next week.

On another note, I found this iteration of the game to be quite easy, especially compared to the last one. This bothered me for a while, but now I'm actually pretty happy with it. What I might do later on is add a button that lets you finish the game early, if you can pay off the remaining debt. That way, you can race to see how fast you can beat the game.

Good to hear about yet another week of steady progress !

UI looks more informative.

Great news on more outfit obligations :D Shorter skirt and high heels sound intriguing, can't wait to see what else you've added. Scenes and that in-depth dress/undress system is something I'm also definitely looking forward to, so yeah hype lives on :D

Regarding navigation and amounts of clicks - I think it's part of game's charm, to see how repetetive certain actions are, and not a big deal for me personally.

0.2 will yield yet another round of feedback so that may be a factor as well.
