* The highlighter for the selection option could stand out a bit more.
* When agreeing to no touch etc dates, sleazy officers in particular should have a chance of breaking that agreement and trying something.
* In general some officers (sleazy etc) should have chances of doing something extra and maybe allowing the player to make a protest or go along with it option (protesting would cause the relationship to decrease so it would basically be money vs morale)
* Something to slow down the ability to pay off the debt, when you start getting Major jobs regularly the game gets a little too easy. Maybe some events that require you spending credits (fines, repairs, etc).
The similar names make it very easy to confuse stations. This complexity is not better gameplay and can only lead to unnecessary frustration. You already make it a chore to access the data - making you have to double check everything doesn't improve the experience.
I like the game, very fun if you are into management games.
I don't know if anyone suggested before, but some inter links in the manual would be very helpful. i.e. If you click on an officer, you go to their profile, if you click on a base, you go to it's profile.
Played several times, Easy mode, it's easy to pay all the loan sharks.Hard mode basically did not exceed 100 days.
Hard, mission chance 60%,Sometimes two days in a row without a task, it's easy to fail. After no task, the probability should increase.Maybe it could be designed to bribe or seduce an officer and get the job?
Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like that's a pretty common sentiment, now. I thought about the 60%, and I think I have a plan that I'm happy with and that should also statistically solve this problem. I'll post about it next weekend!
Good start so far but I have a lot of gripes with the game. I'm just going to share how I feel about what is actually there, don't take it as gospel.
I wish the game jumped straight to the loading cargo scene when accepting a mission, or going straight to living quarters after unloading, or sleeping automatically after you indulged into the MC interests .
At least until there's events between those points because moving is useless clicking since there's no choices to be made. Remember, clicking is not fun, making choices and seeing the results is fun.
Also you need to visit and introduce yourself to everyone and repeat for requesting missions, it's a lot of busy work. I wish the visit button was, "introduce -> Request work-> accept mission" and you added a "ask for better pay above" You could get rid of the visit menu entirely.
I noticed you have to accept the request for better paid for the relationship to progress, that wasn't exactly clear at first. And since you need lvl2 for moving to the superior ranks, a better relationship usually mean "ok you can do that to me next time" and then ghosting the officer, visiting only when all superior officers and friendly officers had no work and you got too much moral.
If you had a chance to meet them when going to the office instead of only when visiting, you would open possibilities for a variety of other scenes. Currently the only scene acting a bit differently is arranged dating and that's a massive yike. Usually being molested is 2 or 3 morale you can easily dodge while missing on your evening is usually skipping 6 or more moral.
Gap between difficulty lvl are pretty wide. I would prefer if easy normal and hard had 90% 80% 70% instead of the current 100% 80% 60%. Easy fully take away a mechanic and hard is very RNG reliant right now.
I like the writing even if I would likely use the metal cap of my boots to kick the tibia of the guy laying his hand on me instead of making a scene, I guess reactions would be a future feature. The harassment is weirdly overt, it feels a lot like high school. I have a hard time imagining a military officer molesting openly a woman on the job but that's just a nitpick.
In particular, a better relationship usually mean "ok you can do that to me next time" and then ghosting the officer really made me laugh! I didn't think of it that way, but you're definitely right. I'll have to think about it, but I kind of like it. You gatta use the officers, instead of letting them use you.
Someone else also mentioned the 70%, 80%, 90% setup, so there's definitely some weight behind it. My thinking currently is that 100% is okay for easy, because easy is just there to teach you the gameplay loop. Hard is at 60%, because when the game was first released, there weren't any difficulty levels, and 60% (and 5 days) was the only setting. I keep it because I'm sentimental about it, but if it is really unfun, because you feel like you can't make meaningful decisions anymore, then I do think I should change it. My feeling is that hard shouldn't be beatable. It should be more about seeing how far you can get. But again, that journey still needs to be fun.
Thank you for saying that you like the writing. That really is my biggest anxiety. :)
After playing the game on the web for a while, I liked it very much, and then downloaded the game. The game runs in full screen, the window mode cannot be set.
Suggestion: Can you change the officer's request to two? The player can choose one of them. This completely random request feels so out of control. Especially the one chooes of the date.
I like the progress of the game and its definitely more manageable but im wondering when the art will be updated. The scenes arent really exciting since they are rough and character is just A posing. But very promising imo keep up the good work.
I think the doll art looks really good, Although I think making her a bit more "womanly" might help explain why every person (living thing) in the star sector wants a piece of her.
do you have any plans to add in milestone rewards? or roguelike aspects? make it far enough into a run, earn enough money, have enough extra cash, do enough missions, be harassed enough times, etc... and then you unlock some sort of permanent bonus that help in later runs, like starting off with certain clothes already gone/ "improved", more officers of a certain type, less missions needed for a rank up, etc.. I ask this because it takes hours to get deep enough into a run to start seeing end game clothing options (and events? although I haven't seen any)
That's a good idea. I was thinking about something like that. Back when the game was really hard, I was thinking about a system where, however many days have passed by when you finish the game (even by losing), they convert into bonus points. You could then use these bonus points to buy bonuses in the title screen, which boost all future playthroughs. But, it became too complicated, and it seemed to contradict some of the other design choices. For example, I didn't like that some games in the archive wouldn't look impressive just because they didn't benefit from future bonus purchases. Ultimately, I decided to go with the current bonus system, instead.
I did also think about having "feats", like if the main character gave X number of blowjobs, then she wouldn't take as much morale damage from giving blowjobs after that. But I kinda tabled that for now. I think the gameplay is complex enough as it is. I could try doing something like that in the future. But there's a lot of stuff I want to prioritize first. For example, I want to flesh out the evening events (pool, bar, etc) some more. I also definitely need to introduce more lewd scenes into the game, now!
Makes sense. I like the idea of "feats". The pilot becomes so use to harassments that she stops being affected by them as much. And hopefully somesort of meta progression will make its way in, in the far future once the game is much more complete.
Looking forward to any new events you'll be adding! Officers asking for different favors, and evening events will be great!
bugs/ issues i encountered in my 300 day playthrough
the only bug ive seen so far is a bug with clothing. i had reg skirt, sheer panties, sheer bra, clevage, and still had the jacket. and one of the officers asked for the short skirt and it didnt show up, it just stayed as the regular skirt. later i also the request to wear no shirt, at the same station, and it also failed to show up. exiting to main menu and reloading did not fix the issue. (edit) it happened on other stations as well, can't tell what might have caused it.
an issue ive run into is when leveling an officer to level 4 and level 6, they just give you the pay raise with no request. its so much work for nothing.
another issue ive run into is that refusing a request only hurts you. i thought it might reroll the request but so far it's only ever been the same request.
Sweet, thank you for the report! Yeah, that outfit display behavior definitely sounds like a bug. I'll take a look, thanks! In regards to the level 4 and 6, there's actually going to be specific obligations there, based on the officer personality, but I haven't written any scenes for them yet, so I just disabled those obligations, for now. Lastly, that's strange about the obligation not re-rolling. It should re-roll. The obligations have different weights, so it could be re-rolling the same thing by chance. But, I'll review the code, anyway. Cheers!
As far as i can tell for clothing, it seems to be once i got enough clothing changes 5-9 or so (stations with 40+ jobs done), is when it started to bug out. If I can send you my game file somehow, id be more than happy to.
As for rerolling requests it might just be an issue with what I was trying to reroll. I mostly tried to reroll the making out, groping and humiliation requests as it gets kinda tedious when every officer on a station gropes you the same way when looking for a good delivery job. I tried rerolling i think 5 times in a row for one of them and just got the same humiliation request over and over. (maybe blacklisting the rejected request till they promote could "fix" this, have a higher chance of getting what you want if you're willing to waste precious time fishing for it? not sure how well that fits with the spirit of the game)
I would actually be really interested in knowing how requests are weighted and if they have specific requirements to unlock. For instance maybe an officer that wants you to show off your tits is more likely to request you to wear lewder bras or no bra/shirt. Also i've noticed that clothing requests can jump stages and ignore things. Had a station where i went from regular underwear to sheer underwear in a single request, all before i lost my coat. (I'm not saying that's bad, random variety is very nice). I just like figuring out how things work.
looking forward to what those special obligations might be!
Ohhhh....I think I know what's going on, now. Okay, this one's my fault. I've been pretty ambiguous about the obligations, because I didn't want to spoil them. But in doing so, I think I caused some confusion, too. At odd relationship levels, the obligation can be re-rolled. But at even relationship levels, they cannot. This is because it is always a set obligation at even numbers. This is what escalates the scenes for the officer. For example, the RL2 obligation will always be harassment, while the RL4 obligation will always then unlock nudity. It depends on the officer's personality.
Sure, I could publish a list of obligations, either the ones that are in the game, and/or the ones I'm still planning. I could also clarify their requirements and frequency. I didn't want to spoil it, but I don't want to make it unintuitive, either.
What do you guys think? Do you think this should be published just here, or in the game, as well? Maybe once an obligation is taken, it's information will be available for all future playthroughs.
Also, do you think I should clarify the different officers personalities, and what I think their scenes should be? Maybe I can make a weekly post about it, as I don't think I'll always have interesting development to report.
A clarification in game would be very helpful. maybe a tutorial on your first level up, or on the menu when deciding to accept or decline there is a message letting you know if this obligation is rerollable or not.
An in game list of obligations, their requirements, and their rarity, would be super nice. Although it should definitely only unlock after you have seen that obligation at least once.
A weekly post on what you want to add to the game in terms of events and scenes would be awesome. Maybe have a poll here or there for community ideas.
and as far as officer personalities I think its fairly obvious, nice officers don't want anything (yet), sleazy officers want to fuck, and stern officers want to humiliate/degrade. It would be cool to hear how you want those "relationships" to progress and if they'll have split paths or anything like that.
Agreed with above - weekly post describing all those mechanics present&planned would be great.
Regarding officer personalities some additional info in 'help' may help - like Stern officers will seek to humiliate you, while sleazy will try to get as physical as possible.
That's right, for now. I ran into some tricky issues with the downloadable version, mainly having to do with loading version 0.1 saves in the version 0.2 game. I'm having a think about how to best approach this, and I'm hoping to upload the client version of 0.2 next week. My current thinking is that each version of the game will only be able to load save files of the same version, but the archive section can load games from any version.
I made it to day 80, 101 and 120 on separate runs, here are my thoughts.
sexual progression. It takes forever to get the pilot to any significant level of change in clothing. With stations seemingly only ever having 4 officers to gain quests from, and some of those officers never asking her to wear less clothes, it can feel futile to play. Especially with my 120 day run, I had to hard focus on getting people to lvl 2 then working on majors and colonels to get enough money to last that long, which made it impossible to try and get her to minimum clothing on any station. the best i've been able to do is 5 clothing changes, and even then it doesn't feel that substantial. It might feel better if every level gave 2 clothing changes or an "event" but even then im not sure. And with it taking a total of 1/3/6/10 quests to gain progression with an officer, if you have a "useless" officer or if they ask for date/ kiss/ grope, it feels like a curse (for the player) as opposed to the progression it should feel like. I think my real problem with it is. is the game supposed to be a survive as long as you can game, or a porn game. At least currently it feels like you have to play the game one way or the other, and just never be satisfied with your result. Personally I would prefer this to be a porn game with a bit of a challenge. Not a challenge game with a bit of porn. But that might just be me.
"useless" officers. There are officers that not only give you less money for doing their quests, but they also never ask for the pilot to do any favors or change clothing. this feels like a weird trap to put in. Maybe if they were changed to give more money but never ask for favors it would feel better. But again this takes away from why we're (i'm) playing the game, to see the pilot (presumably) turned into a slut.
I think you should modify the introduction system so that the player knows who is subordinate to who from the beginning and can only interact with majors, colonels and the general after they have enough levels with their subordinates to gain quests from them. seems a little odd that a random delivery pilot can walk up to the the general on day 1 and bug them for a job.
Too many stations. for the current gameplay loop i think 10 station is just a bit too much, especially when you have stations with only 4 quest givers on them. If you make the game a bit easier I think 10 stations will be fine but for now i think 6-8 stations all with 5-6 officers will feel better to play.
Dates. I only made it to the lvl 1 dates and im not sure if there are higher tiers of it in the game yet, but i think dates should A) give a monetary bonus B)give a moral bonus. I know these things are supposed to be negative but the dates in game seem pretty alright? It seems like a nice/fine evening so a couple (-2-5) moral points would be nice and maybe a tip if the pilot does something extra ;)
missing a payment. I think you should have a relationship value with the loan shark that you can increase by doing favors, I.E. he tells you to do a quest for a specific officer at the beginning of the week, contraband deliveries (high relationship gain, low income gain) or more personal favors. and when you miss a payment while having high enough relationship value he will pay off that weeks payment without counting it towards the fail limit.
Moral. Moral is a bit rough in the early-mid game but by the end game you have enough moral gain from evening events that it doesn't matter. Maybe add an evening event where you can trade moral for money. would also help for squeezing out that last little bit of money you need sometimes.
Moral loss from doing deliveries. currently it seems random how much moral you lose from from doing a quest. I think this should be changed to the further away the delivery location is, the more moral you lose. Or just make the moral loss from the mission more apparent when accepting it.
difficulty. Currently this game is very hard. If it was a roguelike were you gain long term progression at the end of a run i could understand it. but as it stands it just feels difficult for difficulties sake.
officer spread. It would be nice if you could limit stations to having no less than 3 captains on them, otherwise its really easy to miss out on quests.
also, Please make it so that they always give quests, I have had 4 days in row without being able to accept a quest. its honestly awful.
Sorry if i came across as very negative but i do really enjoy the game, but after my 3rd playthrough really trying to make it as far as i can and see as much of the pilot as i could, I feel a little defeated by the apparent futility of it. BUT i do look forward to seeing this game grow and expand and i can't wait for the next update!
Thanks for the feedback! What makes me happy is that you understand what I'm trying to do with the game, at a very deep level. That tells me that there is a desire for this kind of game. You're right, there's still a lot of work left to be done, though.
I think change should be during flight. I highly doubt that all flight (with duraion of half a day) MC passes actively piloting. Therefore there are some relatively free time. And if one of the officers decides to visit MC during unloading...
Definitely on the more difficult side, managed to lose at 15k range - so about 10% into the game.
Deals affecting her attire were great - hoping on more interaction between her and capitans/passengers/crew, depending on state of outfit, like lifting the skirt if she have it equipped. Also would be nice if certain harassments, like photos could have additional effects.
Really appreciated the harassment graphics - hope variations based on outfits to be implemented - as well as more situational events like certain outfit/deal + certain relax location could lead to other events - good and bad.
Also hope character avatar could be polished up - there's some improvements to be made I believe ;)
Few QOL changes would be appreciated:
1. Numbers next to menu choices for pure keyboard access
2. Don't understand the purpose of 'Mission Details' button in cockpit
3. Don't understand difference between the colored locations - it appears red pays less + cargo crew are more handsy, while blue locations are oppossite
5. Some short tab/description of current port, like made deals, present officers, etc.
Oh and I'm personally absolutely okay with focus on groping, stripping, skimpiness and embarrassment - not many games go this path...
Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it. :) In particular, I definitely agree that balancing is not done, yet. I'll give it some thought, while planning out the next steps.

First, nice game. I wished I would not have found it ;) - To many ours gameplay
Some suggestions / questions:
*Name: -Give the Name yourself
*Infinite Mode: -no infinite anymore, but the option to continue, after you payed your dept
*Mission: -She wants to be a pilot, why does it cost moral?
*Evening activities: -need to pay for some activities, like gym
-option to stay at home and for example play a game
-opportunity to make friends, at the bar and be able to invite them
-possibility for robbery
-meeting with officers with different rules an outcomes
*Ship: -needs gas, cost different on the stations and maybe not available on every station
-random repair costs -cheaper if you do something for the engineer
*sten officers: -even requests?
*Cloth: -Needs to purchase it first and options to choose
-possibility that cloth gets ripped
-option not the wear what was requested
*Free-day: -needs to take every x day off
-opportunity to do something over the day, not just rest
*Officer requests: -they can ask later for a tattoo, piercing, or different hair
*random Harassed: -option how to react, not only accept
-get a little used to it
I know its a lot, but maybe there is something that you can consider
Thanks for the suggestions! I'm glad to hear that you enjoy the game. :)
A question, in the first screenshot seems you have more customization options for a new game, but in game I can't see seem.
How I can see those options when starting a new game, please?
Thanks.
Hi! Just go right on the difficulty level twice. :)
oh ok thanks :P

Is there a way to run this in HTML mode on an intranet server?

Keep it going, you do a very good job. I am starting following. Also any patreon or something like that ?
Thank you for the kind words! No patreon or anything. I just do it for fun.
This is pretty good, can't wait to see it progress!
Thank you very much!

Male officers' names are in blue, and female officers' names are in pink.

I personally like the event artstyle simiplicity. Though Avatar could use a little polish, MC doesn't look too feminine
Thanks! Yeah, I'm giving it some thought, and I might redo the doll art. I like how it came out, but I think it can be better.

Oh right and highest makeup obligation looks atrocious :P

I can't seem to download the new version of the game. Have you made it browser only?
That's right, for now. I ran into some tricky issues with the downloadable version, mainly having to do with loading version 0.1 saves in the version 0.2 game. I'm having a think about how to best approach this, and I'm hoping to upload the client version of 0.2 next week. My current thinking is that each version of the game will only be able to load save files of the same version, but the archive section can load games from any version.
gotcha, hope it works itself out
I made it to day 80, 101 and 120 on separate runs, here are my thoughts.
sexual progression.
Interesting game.
IMHO, too many unnecessary clicks. But to make them less will require dialog system redo.
One thing to consider: rename "ask to pay more" button into "lvl up relations".
One question: at what points does MC changes outfit to match station requirements?
MC changes outfits when getting out of her ship - which makes sense considering her wardrobe is located there
I think change should be during flight. I highly doubt that all flight (with duraion of half a day) MC passes actively piloting. Therefore there are some relatively free time. And if one of the officers decides to visit MC during unloading...
You can't leave that suspense ! What is going to happen ?
Exactly :)))
That's probably the worst answer you could have left /:
I like walkthroughs for this type of game
Fun little game !
Will keep an eye on development !
More difficult than anticipated - after figuring out everything i still lost after clearing 200k~ debt, and lost due to this:
Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it. :) In particular, I definitely agree that balancing is not done, yet. I'll give it some thought, while planning out the next steps.
